RESULTS & SUSTAINABILITY

RESULTS

The Climate Wise Schools and Students project has contributed to increasing awareness of climate change and environmental sustainability among students, teachers and the wider school community.

Through international cooperation and the exchange of good practices, the partner schools have developed new approaches to climate education, combining active learning, gamification, creativity, digital tools, music, arts and collaborative work.

The project has helped students to:

  • increase their knowledge and awareness of environmental and climate issues;
  • develop more responsible and sustainable habits;
  • work collaboratively with students from other European countries;
  • improve their digital, creative and communication skills;
  • reflect on local and global environmental challenges;
  • become more active and responsible citizens.

For teachers, the project has provided opportunities to exchange experiences, learn new methodologies and develop innovative educational resources that can be integrated into different subjects and learning contexts.

The cooperation between the six partner countries has also strengthened the European dimension of the participating schools and created new opportunities for future collaboration.

SUSTAINABILITY

The results of the project will continue to be used beyond the official project period. The partner schools are committed to maintaining the educational impact of the project and integrating its results into their regular school activities.

The project's educational resources will remain available online so that they can continue to be used by teachers, students and other schools. The partner schools will also continue to promote climate education through their Erasmus Corners, school activities, environmental campaigns and interdisciplinary learning experiences.

Each partner school has developed a Sustainability Plan for 2026–2031, establishing actions to maintain and extend the project's results according to its own school context.

Sustainability will focus on:

  • continuing to use the project's educational resources and methodologies;
  • integrating climate and environmental education into school activities and teaching practices;
  • maintaining Erasmus and European cooperation whenever possible;
  • sharing the project's results with new students, teachers, families and schools;
  • continuing dissemination through the project website and other communication channels;
  • encouraging students to remain active in environmental protection and sustainable citizenship.

In this way, Climate Wise Schools and Students will continue beyond the end of the Erasmus+ project, ensuring that the knowledge, resources, experiences and partnerships developed during the project remain useful and continue to inspire future generations.

Change the climate, change the future.
