Throughout the project, teachers participated in transnational mobilities and training activities focused on innovative methodologies, gamification, digital tools, climate education and European cooperation. These experiences provided opportunities to exchange good practices and strengthen professional learning across the partner schools.
Teachers from the six partner countries worked together through transnational and online meetings to coordinate the project, exchange educational practices, monitor its progress and develop common activities and resources related to climate change education and sustainability.
These meetings strengthened cooperation and communication among the partner schools and supported the effective implementation of the project's activities and results. The face-to-face meetings held in Spain, North Macedonia, Portugal and Türkiye provided important opportunities to review the project's progress, plan the next stages and address organisational matters. The final meeting in Türkiye focused on the closing phase of the project, including the review of its achievements and the sustainability and continuation of the project results.
Throughout the Climate Wise Schools and Students project, partner schools developed and implemented a range of innovative educational practices to promote climate awareness, active learning and student participation.
The project combined interdisciplinary learning, gamification, educational escape rooms, hands-on environmental activities and creative approaches to help students explore climate challenges and develop sustainable solutions. The practices presented here were adapted to the different school contexts and encouraged collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and active participation.
Throughout the Climate Wise Schools and Students project, students took part in transnational mobilities where they met peers from partner schools, shared experiences and participated in joint educational and cultural activities.
The mobilities provided opportunities for students to learn together in different European contexts while exploring environmental issues, sustainability, science, creativity and cultural heritage. They also encouraged communication, teamwork, intercultural understanding and active participation in the European community.
The main student mobilities took place in North Macedonia, Greece and Croatia. Each mobility offered a different programme of activities connected with the objectives and themes of the project.
