The Escape Room Training Meeting, held in Braga, Portugal, brought together teachers from the partner schools to explore educational escape rooms as an innovative and engaging methodology for climate education.
During the meeting, teachers participated in practical training activities and experienced different escape room challenges, learning how to combine teamwork, problem-solving, digital tools, creativity and curriculum content in an educational context.
Following the training, the teachers worked collaboratively to design and develop their own climate-themed educational escape rooms, addressing different environmental topics related to the objectives of the Climate Wise Schools and Students project.
The meeting provided teachers with practical strategies that could be transferred to their own classrooms and encouraged the exchange of ideas and good practices between the partner schools.
The escape rooms created during this training are presented below as one of the educational outputs of the project, providing teachers and students with interactive resources to learn about climate change and sustainability in a motivating and collaborative way.
